In the old interview with OAP Toolz, Wizkid confidently stated that he had a huge crush on Genevieve.
According to him, his interest in her grew from watching her in movies as a young child.
However, he noted that on the day he finally met Genevieve, he was in the company of his older uncles who introduced him as a little boy to the actress. As a result, he had to humble himself and address her as ‘Ma’.
Wizkid added that after that encounter, he let go of his crush on her.
“I really had a crush on Genevieve until I met her”, he said.
When Toolz asked if the crushed died, he responded, “She’s like my aunty, but she was like awwn, I love you though”.
