The choir of Emmanuel Chapel Methodist Church, Ikoyi, Lagos, popularly known as the Angelic Voices, recently visited the Pacelli School for the Blind as part of its 11th-anniversary celebrations.
Led by the Director of Music, Tope Olagunju, and secretary, Abiola Oladipupo, they visited the school to identify with and spend time with the students of the care home.
During the visit, Olagunju conducted the choir in singing songs together with the students and teachers, and that livened up the atmosphere. The students of the school also rendered some of their own songs.
Meanwhile, the choir anniversary culminated in a thanksgiving service at the church, with the choristers treating the congregation to hymns, chants and anthems.
