Beverage manufacturer, FirstBev Nigeria Limited, has introduced a new energy drink called Surge Energy drink into the Nigerian market.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the manufacturer, who is the authorised bottler of the RC Cola range of products on Tuesday.
The launch was held on the 18th of July at the Strongpack Villa in Agbara, Ogun State.
Addressing the audience at the launch, the Country Head of Marketing, FirstBev Nig. Ltd., Mr Shakiru Ogunyemi, said that Surge Energy was intended to satisfy the desire of many Nigerians that craved a unique taste of a premium energy drink different from the existing variants in the market.
He said RC Cola, as an American brand, was reputed for maintaining the best global standard practice, and this underscored the consumer’s confidence in Surge Energy Drink over the competition brands.
He noted that Surge Energy Drink was produced to align with the lifestyle preference of health-conscious consumers.
The statement said, “With its unique taste and packaging, It is the ideal drink for consumers of class, and of both gender. It is extremely refreshing and revitalising. Surge Energy Drink is very affordable and available in all parts of Nigeria.”
