South Korea to earn their first win of the tournament
The first of our Women’s World Cup tips is for South Korea to get a much-needed victory. They are a clear favourite for this clash and it is easy to see why.
South Korea were runners-up at the last Asian Cup and are ranked 17th in the world by FIFA. They were the 2nd highest-ranked team in the group ahead of the tournament but with a showdown with Germany, the highest-ranked team in Group H, looming in the final group match, they need all three points against Morocco to keep their hopes alive.
They have shown in recent years they are capable of getting a result against strong opponents. The perfect example of this was their win over Australia en route to the final of the Asian Cup.
Morocco are the 2nd lowest-ranked team in the tournament. They are 72nd in the world rankings and they suffered a heavy defeat in their tournament opener.

Goal difference could be a key factor in who qualifies from the group. The Koreans are at a clear disadvantage with a match against the Germans awaiting them so this is the perfect opportunity for them to overturn their -2 goal difference.
Morocco had just 26% possession in their opening match. The Koreans should see plenty of possession in this one but they need to ensure they carry a significant attacking threat if they want to score the goals required.
The Koreans have a mix of quality and experience in forward areas and they will be keen to show what they can do after the disappointing showing against Colombia.

Our final bet is Choe Yu-ri to score at any time in the match. The odds suggest that Korea should have the bulk of the chances and we are backing Yu-ri to be one of the beneficiaries.
Yu-ri was a bright spark in an otherwise dull display from Korea in the first game. She had one shot on target and another blocked. She was also able to create one good chance for her team.
