The Federal Road Safety Corps has confirmed the death of two persons in an auto crash which occurred along the Akure-Owo expressway in Akure, Ondo State capital, on Sunday.
The state Sector Commander, Mr Ezekiel Son’Allah, in a report, explained that the accident involved a trailer that had no registration number and a private motorcycle.
According to the FRSC boss, the crash was caused by overspeeding.
He said, “Two persons, a male and a female, lost their lives and one person sustained injury in the accident. The identities of the victims are yet to be identified.
“The bodies of the dead victims were deposited at the state specialist hospital morgue, in Akure,” Son’Allah said.
