During the week, a music and entertainment company, Mavin Records, unveiled a singer and rapper, Lofesuze Teddy, aka Lifesize Teddy, as its latest signee.
Consequently, she becomes the first female rap artiste to be signed to the record label since its inception in 2012.
Introducing the new artiste on Instagram, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Don Jazzy, wrote, “With the power vested in me by the Supreme Mavin Dynasty, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Mavin’s latest signee— rapper, poet, singer and songwriter, Lifesize Teddy. Please, follow and welcome (her).”
Getting straight to business, the singer has released an eponymous Extended Play album.
Shortly after the announcement was made, many fans of the Mavin crew stormed the social media pages of the new signee to show support.
Similarly, other Mavin artistes, including Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille and Ladipoe, have taken turns to welcome the new artiste.
Johnny Drille wrote, “Welcome to the family, Lifesize Teddy. So excited for the world to experience your genius. Rooting for you the whole way.”
Commenting on Don Jazzy’s post, Ayra Starr wrote, “To the world”; while Crayon wrote, “Super star, it’s up now”! Bayanni wrote, “It’s time, Teddy. Go!”
