Loolo is the member representing Khana Constituency 2 in the state legislature and chairman, House Committee on Environment.
Spokesman of the House, Victor Oko-Jumbo, disclosed this while speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Oko-Jumbo who is the member representing Bonny Constituency in the 32-member House described Loolo’s death as shocking.
He also said the House had paid a condolence visit to his family at his residence in Port Harcourt.
The Rivers Assembly spokesman stated, “We received the shocking news yesterday; one that threw everybody off balance.
“We visited the family of our late colleague, Hon. Dinebari Loolo, member representing Khana Constituency 2 and chairman on Environment”
Meanwhile, a federal lawmaker and member representing Khana/Gokana in the House of Representatives, Dumnamene Dekor, has mourned the passing of Loolo
Dekor in a statement by his media office said Loolo’s demise was a personal loss and big blow to the Ogoni people in Rivers.
While noting that the deceased was dear to him, Dekor described Loolo as ‘a close and reliable ally’ adding that the Ogoni people have sadly lost a rare gem.
Dekor made the remarks during a condolence visit to the wife and family of the late lawmaker at their Port Harcourt residence on Tuesday.
“Hon. Barr. Loolo’s demise is not only a loss to his immediate family, but also to the Peoples Democratic Party on whose platform he was elected into the state legislature, and to Rivers State as a whole.
“For the short period, he served the state as a lawmaker, Loolo was a rallying point because of his humility, legislative acumen and imitable sense of reasoning.
“While serving as a lawmaker, he made a remarkable mark, always radiating exceptional brilliance and courage. Loolo’s memories will continue to live with me as a brother, and friend, an associate and close ally who was always there for me and my family in all my political endevours,” the federal lawmaker added.
