The Department of State Services, on Tuesday, reportedly invited the Chairman of the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State, Afolabi Odulate, over the recent cult killings in Sagamu.
Also invited by the secret police over the matter was the All Progressives Congress lawmaker representing Sagamu Constituency II in the state House of Assembly, Adeniran Ademola.
Our correspondent gathered that the invitation of the council chair and the lawmaker was in furtherance of the efforts by the DSS to unveil the people behind the cult clashes.
It would be recalled that six suspects and the Peoples Democratic Party lawmaker representing Sagamu State Constituency I, Damilare Mohammed, were rounded up on Wednesday in sting a operation by the DSS.
The PDP lawmaker was nabbed while allegedly providing shelter for the fleeing cultists at his official residence in Abeokuta.
