The Bible Society of Nigeria says it is organising an annual Bible quiz for blind students.
In a statement on Tuesday, the organisation said the initiative was aimed at providing a platform for people with visual disabilities to engage in reading the Bible.
It said the quiz competition would be held on Thursday, October 5, at The Apostolic Church in Palmgrove District, Lagos.
“Students from seven schools catering to individuals with visual impairments will gather for the 5th edition of the Bible quiz. Representing their respective institutions will be two students each from Bethesda Home for the Blind in Mushin, Vocational School for the Blind in Oshodi, Kings College in Obalende, Lagos State Senior Model College in Agbowa-Ikosi, Lagos State Junior Model College in Agbowa-Ikosi, Federal Government College in Ijaniki, and Pacelli School for the Blind in Surulere, all located in Lagos,” the statement said.
