This gesture comes after a video showing traders in Makola market dancing and vibing to his hit song “City Boys” off his latest album, “I Told Them”, went viral on social media.
The video captured the attention of the self-styled ‘Odogwu,’ who evidently loved it and responded with a love emoji in the comment section on TikTok.
In a recent update, Burna Boy has gone the extra mile to convey his gratitude to the women by booking a billboard in the market.
The billboard reads, “Burnaboy loves the market women from the Happy Town Project,” alongside a photo of the women.
The singer posted a video of the billboard on his Instagram page and revealed that the women made his day, prompting his decision to make theirs.
He captioned the clip,
“You all made my day, I hope I made yours ❤️🔥 #ITOLDTHEM
Love,
Damini”
