First runner-up on BBNaija All Stars, Mercy Eke, has sent her sincere congrats to Ilebaye, the victor of the reality competition.
Many supporters and viewers were stunned by the unexpected result, which saw Ilebaye win with 30.08% of the vote and Mercy Eke come in second with 23.48%.
Despite initial predictions that Mercy Eke, the previous season’s champion, would win the All Stars championship, she has displayed outstanding sportsmanship by congratulating Ilebaye on her victory.
Mercy Eke praised Ilebaye for the outstanding gaming that resulted in her victory in the competition and exhorted her to “wear her crown, raise her head high, and shine eternally” in her statement to the public.
Mercy Eke thanked her mother, big sister, and cousins for their constant support as she reflected on her experience in the Big Brother All Stars program.
She also made a particular mention of the “Mercenaries,” a group of her devoted supporters who have been by her side ever since her victory in 2019 and have continued to show her love and support.
Mercy Eke also expressed her gratitude to Multichoice for giving her the platform that propelled her to prominence and for everyone who went above and beyond to help her succeed in the All Stars competition.
Mercy Eke concluded by congratulating Ilebaye on her victory and praising her for her performance throughout the contest.
