Following allegations that President Bola Tinubu forged his certificate from Chicago State University, United States of America, the Pan Niger Delta Forum, Ken Robinson, has described the claims as a distraction to the country.
PANDEF’s spokesperson, Ken Robinson, added that since the case was already in the court, it was necessary for the people to allow it (court) to decide if Tinubu’s certificate was forged or not.
In an interview with our correspondent, Robinson said, “From what we have heard, the university said he was a student and he graduated from the school.
“They (university) have also stated the grades he graduated with. For us at PANDEF, the unity and progress of this country is more important than any individual.
“This matter is in the Supreme Court and until the court decides that the certificate was forged, I think it is not proper for people to conclude so. Let those who have evidence present it to the court and let the court decide whether there was forgery or not.”
