Ezeokenwa said the Supreme Court’s verdict on the petitions filed against Tinubu by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, showed that Tinubu won the February 25, 2023 presidential elections.
He stated these on Friday at the APGA National Secretariat in Awka, during a media chat with some members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in the state.
He urged the opposition parties and other Nigerians to join hands with Tinubu to develop the country.
He also advised the President to fulfil his electoral promises and work towards moving the country forward.
He said, “Tinubu should endeavour to implement at least 50 per cent of programmes in his development agenda. If the President can implement up to 50 per cent of his programmes, the nation will witness rapid transformation in the near future.
“APGA has positioned itself in a vantage position to win more elective positions in the country during the next electioneering period. All post-primary elections bickerings which had in the past held the party to ransom, would no longer repeat themselves.
“Henceforth, we would insist on transparent primary elections in all the elective positions. Journalists as truly the watchdogs, they have a vital role to play in nation-building.”
