Meek Mill, the world-famous American rapper, made a new claim about his music.
He said said contrary to claims that rap is “dying”, he is still smiling to the bank.
He said he makes at least 1 million dollars from every song he records.
“I’m getting a million a song… so that’s $62,500 every bar I speak… They say this rap sh*t dying must be on Billboard because it’s not to Meek!,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
Recall that Nigerian singer, Wizkid recently sparked a debate after claiming in an interview that “hip-hop is dead.”
His claim elicited reactions from both local and international hip-hop stars with South African rapper, Nasty C, M.I, Zoro Swagbag, Oladips and a host of others publicly berating him for his controversial statement.
