Chelsea good value for the win
Chelsea have unquestionably turned a corner. They have lost just one of their last eight matches across all competitions, and have clocked five wins in that span. Their underlying numbers are only bettered by the top three.
Newcastle are depleted by a severe injury crisis. They lost their last two matches before the international break without scoring. The Magpies have already suffered four Premier League defeats this term.
Eddie Howe will be without several key stars. Newcastle have their work cut out against a Chelsea team full of confidence.

Cards expected for the visitors
No Premier League team has been shown more yellow cards than Chelsea so far this season. Mauricio Pochettino’s side has been cautioned 40 times already. Newcastle have received just 33 bookings.
This has the makings of a combative game between two teams with little between them in the table. Chelsea have several booking candidates. Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer have all accumulated three or more yellows. We like the value here.

Jackson gets another goal
Four goals over his last two matches take Nicolas Jackson up to seven for the season. Jackson has fired off 12 shots over his last three Premier League appearances. He will once again be leading the line on Saturday afternoon.
He’s raw and can be wasteful in the final third, but Jackson has already shown signs of development under Pochettino. He averages three shots per match in the league. That is comfortably more than any other Chelsea player.
If we’re taking Chelsea to win, it makes sense to back Jackson to score given his good form prior to the break. This is one of our favourite tips for Saturday’s match.
Bet 3: Nicolas Jackson to score anytime @ 3.20 Bet9ja
Low corner count
Newcastle’s matches average a total of 9.2 corners this season. Chelsea’s number is even lower, coming in at the second-fewest corners in the Premier League. Even in the Blues’ 4-4 draw with Manchester City last time out, there were only six corners.
We feel comfortable taking the under here. Both sides are below league average in corners won per match, with only four teams generating fewer corner kicks than Newcastle.
