Who will Host AFCON?
AFCON 2024 will be held in Ivory Coast, the second time the West African country will host the tournament. The tournament, which was previously scheduled to be held in the summer of 2023, will start on January 13 and end on February 11, 2024.
Côte d’Ivoire will welcome 23 other countries for a competition that will see 52 matches in total. Games will be played in 6 stadiums listed below.

- Charles Konan Banny Stadium, Yamoussoukro – 20,000 capacity
Each stadium will host six group stage games each, with host Ivory Coast playing all their group stage games at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium. Nigeria, on the other hand, will play 2 of their group stage matches at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium and the last one at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
For the round of 16, two games each will be held at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium and Laurent Pokou Stadium. The other four venues will host a game each to complete the 8 games in this round.
In the quarterfinals, one game each will be played at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Stade de la Paix, Alassane Ouattara Stadium, and Charles Konan Banny Stadium.
The two semi-final games will be held at Alassane Ouattara Stadium and Stade de la Paix, while the final will be played at Alassane Ouattara Stadium. There will also be a third-placed game at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
