Gunners to fire into knockout stages
Mikel Arteta hasn’t had much time to dwell on the fact that his team has moved to the top of the English Premier League, following a hard-fought 1-0 win at Brentford on Saturday. A point here will be enough to ensure Arsenal qualify out of Group B and into the knockout stages of the competition.
They are a very short odds favourite to do that by being the winner at the end of the 90 minutes. I am sure the Gunners would like to get things wrapped up quickly, so it appeals to get a quick start on side. A win will wrap up top spot for the Gunners so they’ll be keen to get it done.
Arsenal have been leading at halftime in five of their seven home wins across all competitions this season. This includes leading in each of the last three and in both Champions League group games.

Lens to put up a fight
Lens are now unbeaten in eight league games, after defeating Clermont 3-0 at the weekend. However, despite being tied on points, they have a poor head-to-head record against PSV, who currently occupy the second qualifying place. This means the French side needs points on the board. As a result, they are likely to come out swinging at the Emirates Stadium.
Les Sang et Or have remained unbeaten in three fixtures against Arsenal, including their come-from-behind 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture. This was one of three instances where both teams have scored in their four group games this season. A run which now reads nine of the last ten in this competition and something I expect to continue here at attractive odds.

Be a Saka backer as the Gunners look to qualify in style
When looking at his stats for the season to date, Bukayo Saka hasn’t been quite able to hit the very high heights in the English Premier League that we’ve come to expect.
He’s reportedly struggled with injury for a while. Regardless, the England international hasn’t scored domestically since September. However, he provided assists in each of his last two outings in the English top flight.
Still, in the Champions League, the 22-year-old has scored in both home ties, including on the last match day against Sevilla and also against PSV. As Arsenal’s most consistent attacking option, I am taking him to make it a hat-trick of goals on home soil by adding him to my tips here.

Attractive low card line appears to be a must-play
With both sides having much at stake, it is reasonable to expect to see a few cards shown at the Emirates on Wednesday. I was surprised to see the line set as low as 4.5 and choosing over 4.5 cards here is the strongest of my predictions.
There have been a minimum of five cards in five of Arsenal’s eight home games this season so far. This includes five on the last match day of this competition when they hosted Sevilla.
Lens are fresh from a feisty encounter in France at the weekend which resulted in four yellow and two red cards. There were nine yellows and a red in their last fixture in this competition at PSV.
Out of their nine road trips, eight featured at least five cards, with the lone exception involving four. Those games averaged 6.67 cards.
The referee, Artur Soares Dias, has shown at least five cards in each of his last four appearances. He has crossed the line needed here in nine of the 12 games he has taken charge of this season in all competitions.
