Brest the best bet
This is a crucial game for both sides, but for differing reasons. A win for the hosts will take them up to 5th place in Ligue 1. Strasbourg visit Stade Francis-Le Blé just a point above the relegation zone.
Bet9ja marks Brest as the clear favourite in the match winner market and I agree with that. However, at odds of 1.83, they are a fraction short to add as a straight play on my tips. Therefore, I am heading to the Combined Markets to boost this above even-money.
Patrick Vieira traditionally tries to keep things tight. Although his side has lost four of their six road trips, none have seen more than three goals.

Visitors’ goals woes set to continue
Similarly, I do not expect this struggling Strasbourg side to trouble the scorers. NG in the Goal/No Goal market is priced at 1.88 with Bet9ja, just beneath my 2.00 odds threshold. That is why I will once again include a Brest win to boost that price.
Looking at the stats, we can see the hosts have kept a clean sheet in half of their six home games, and each time to sides currently in the bottom seven. The visitors have failed to score in half of their away games this term, and on each occasion to sides in the top three.
Only Clermont have scored fewer goals in Ligue 1 than Strasbourg, who have only hit the back of the net three times on the road. As recently as March, Brest won the last head-to-head meeting, winning 1-0.

Romain can be the king of the castle
Who will be the match winner for Brest? In my opinion, it has to be Romain Del Castillo.
The 27-year-old got back among the goals at the weekend when firing in his second two-goal haul of the campaign. Last season was his best in front of goal, but he appears sure to further improve that record this term.
All three of his shots were on target in that 3-0 win over Clermont. He is also on penalties, which could be vital in this fixture.
Bet 3: Romain Del Castillo to score @ 3.25 with Bet9ja
Strasbourg likely to find themselves in a spot of bother
A penalty to be awarded by referee Jérémie Pignard is my favourite of all predictions for this match.
The 36-year-old official has been in charge of five Ligue 1 fixtures this season, and awarded five penalties with at least one in four of them. This includes two for Brest in their 3-2 victory over Lens, which accounts for two of three spot kicks they have been awarded this term. All were converted by Romain Del Castillo.
Taking into account last season, the official has now awarded eight penalties in his last nine Ligue 1 appointments.
Bet 4: Penalty awarded @ 2.75 with Bet9ja
