In a tweet on the microblogging platform X, she noted that her son had been assaulted by his classmate every month.
She also revealed that allowing her five-year-old son to attend school in a predominantly white neighborhood was one of her biggest fears.
Sharing the tweets, she attached some pictures of the injuries that were inflicted on her son by one of his classmates.
The pictures contained several scratches and bite marks on hands and cheeks.
She wrote “This is how I picked my 5 y.o up from school today. Kindergarten has been awful! Every month he’s been attacked by a student and it has been taken too lightly! My son is very lovable, & It feels like staff is turning a blind eye allowing it to happen! I’m livid & done!”
She also mentioned that she brought the issue on social media because she knew it would give her a bigger voice.
Reply to some comments she shared that “They just started school in September. So damn near yeah!. Started with getting bit at school by a student, then the same kid dug his nail in my sons skin breaking the skin, now today this from another kid! He won’t be stepping his feet in that building again, they will see me in court”
