The Blues were able to bounce back from last week’s 2-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park.
Mauricio Pochettino’s charges cruised to a 2-0 win in front of home supporters courtesy of Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.
After a 0-0 draw at halftime, the Blues had their first goal in the 54th minute when Palmer converted Sterling’s cross from the right, earning his sixth goal of the season.
Seven minutes later, Chelsea striker, Jackson doubled the lead after receiving the ball from Plamer.

At the other match at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City was held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace.
The away team was lucky to earn a stoppage-time equaliser after losing four of its last league matches and a draw.
Man City was quick to fire as Jack Grealish found the net at the 24th-minute mark.
Following a check by the Video Assistant Referee, the goal was decided as Grealish drove the ball into the bottom corner of the post.
City’s 19-year-old midfielder, Rico Lewis made it 2-0 after he volleyed the ball into Palace’s net.
Determined to earn a point at Etihad, Palace’s winger, Mateta converted his chance in the 76th minute as he tapped the ball into an empty City net.
The visitors got their late equaliser in the 93rd minute.
