Igbiti spoke at the 2023 Induction Ceremony of fellows and associates at the College of Insurance and Financial Management, Asese, Ogun State.
He said, “Over the years, we have raised high-standard professionals and increased the manpower needs of the insurance industry.
“It will, therefore, not going to be out of place but rather a statement of fact to say that we have encouraged millennials and Gen-Zs to embrace the insurance business for a seamless transition.”
He congratulated the inducted fellows and associates of the insurance industry.
This, he added, was a significant milestone that marked not only their achievements but also their responsibility to help shape the future of the insurance sector.
“I have no doubt that, with your talent, interest, resolution, dedication, and commitment to sustainability, you will make a significant impact not only within your organisations but also in the society at large,” he said.
Igbiti urged the industry to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
The insurance industry, he noted, was built on trust, and that it was the responsibility to foster trust by offering comprehensive, customer-centric solutions and positive attitudes.
“By understanding your clients’ needs and providing them with tailored coverage, you are not only building long-lasting relationships but also contributing to their financial security and overall well-being,” he said.
