The young lady, who identified herself as Cassandra Michael, shared the video online.
“This morning I came to school, I [have] paper around 2:00, I came to school and one of the invigilators said I am not going to write this exam because of my dressing, that I dressed improperly,” she said in the video.
The student then requested viewers to inform her if she was inappropriately dressed.
She was wearing a white top, blue denim jacket, and a pair of black jeans.
In the video making the rounds on the internet, a security guard was seen holding her back from entering the hall while she asked “I want to know my offence.”
A man standing in front of the hall then replied, “Don’t you know what you wear.?”
In January, The PUNCH reported that the Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, instructed lecturers in the institution to start denying students access to lecture halls over indecent dressing.
Last year, the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, also announced a ban on what it described as ‘indecent dressing’ by students on its campus.
