A House of Representative lawmaker representing Abeokuta North in Obafemi-Owode and Odeda Federal Constituency in Ogun State, Hon. Olumide Osoba, has distributed cash grants and palliative to no less than 800 artisans and youths in the state.
Osoba, while stating the importance of support to constituent members said the effort was geared towards offering financial support and relief to individuals during the current economic downturn.
“The initiative involves the distribution of cash grants and palliatives, providing N100,000 each to 800 artisans, beneficiaries within the constituency,” a statement he signed on Friday partly read.
The lawmaker added that the commitment to the initiative was in dedication to improving the interest of constituents, and noted that the distribution of substantial cash and grants underscores his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those he represents.
“This impactful effort is geared towards offering financial support and relief to individuals and my people. The steadfast, dedication to the initiative is to improve the welfare of my constituents, especially during these challenging times,” he stated.
He added that the initiative ultimately contributed to the resilience and well-being of the community.
