“Former US First Lady@MichelleObama was spotted wearing the Alkebulan Showstopper dress from our AW/SS22 collection during a mission in the country. The multi-coloured pleated dress is named after what is believed to be the original name of the African continent, Alkebulan, dating back to pre-colonization. Alkebulan is considered the continent’s oldest and most indigenous name, with translations such as “mother of mankind” or, according to some sources, “the garden of Eden,” the label said in excitement.
