Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ayra Starr has expressed a wish to collaborate with American music icons Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and Rihanna.
In a recent interview with Cool FM, the Mavin Records artiste stated her desire to collaborate with various famous foreign artists.
When asked about the international acts she hopes to collaborate with, Ayra Starr said; “I would love to work with Rihanna, Victoria Monét, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole.”
The “Sabi” crooner revealed that her dedication to perfection serves as her primary source of inspiration. Speaking on how she handles criticism of her appearance or singing, she said;
“I read stuff, I see stuff. Sometimes if it’s very bad I just let them. I feel like I’m in my let them era. But sometimes if it’s stupiid, I just block.”
In other news, Ayra Starr disclosed how she has refrained from buying an expensive purse she wanted because her mother would not approve.
The singer shared in a recently released, viral interview how her mother is still an average Nigerian mother.
She described how, despite having the money, she didn’t purchase an expensive bag she had her eye on because of her mother.
The Grammy nominee also described how, if she goes out late for a show, her mother calls her and everyone else in the vicinity.
