In celebration of the season of love, and commitment to community support, Pampers Private School held its annual charity visitation.
The students at PPS Alaka visited the Red Cross Orphanage and Heart of God Hospice, Surulere while PPS Lekki students visited the Destitute Home at Ebute Meta.
The students interacted with children of various ages, celebrating with various gifts, including toiletries, clothing, shoes, bags, toys, food items, beverages, noodles, and generous cash donations.
A statement signed by the school said, “This act of generosity would not have been possible without the invaluable support received from the school’s cherished parents, staff, and children who are rapidly developing compassion for those in need.
“This year’s charity visitation holds a special place in our hearts as we commemorate our 40th anniversary,” expressed Head of Lekki School, Mr. Olalekan Oluwadairo. “It’s a joyous occasion to spread love and compassion, especially during this festive season in the communities that have embraced and supported us throughout our journey.”
According to Mrs Funmi Lawore, the Head of Primary at the Alaka Campus, “This exercise is an important part of our yearly activities as it not only teaches our pupils to give, but the visits are instrumental in shaping their perspectives on the needs of others less privileged than them.”
Pampers Private School extended profound gratitude to all contributors, emphasising the collective effort that underscored the school’s ethos of nurturing not only academic excellence but also community bonds.
