The Board of Directors of the Centre for Integrated Health Programmes Nigeria has appointed Lolu Akinwunmi as its chairman.
The new chairman is set to take over from Muhammed Yahaya who retired after laudable years of serving the organisation.
Centre for Integrated Health Programmes evolved from the Multi-Country Columbia Antiretroviral Program of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, New York, and is a leading not-for-profit non-governmental organisation, promoting better health outcomes for all Nigerians through the creation of sustainable systems and partnerships.
Akinwunmi is the founding Group Chief Executive Officer of the Prima Garnet Africa Group and he sits on the Boards of other organisations.
In a statement obtained by Saturday PUNCH, the Board of Directors of CIHP commended Yahaya for his invaluable contributions, while announcing the appointment of Akinwunmi as the new Board Chairman.
They stated that Akinwunmi as a trailblazer would bring his marketing expertise to enhance the growth of the organisation.
