Nigerian skit maker Lord Lamba has filed for custody of his child with Big Brother Naija star Queen Mercy Atang, stating his refusal to allow another man to raise his child.
This decision comes shortly after the reality TV star announced her engagement to a UK-based biomedical scientist named David.
Recall that Lord Lamba finally confirmed that he is the father of Queen’s daughter following her engagement, with picture and video evidence.
In a recent update, the skit maker, whose real name is Kelvin Anagbodu, is now seeking custody of the child, as seen in a legal document shared online.
In the document, he mentioned that Queen is preparing to marry another man and may not have the time to provide their daughter with the necessary care. He suggested that his mother and sister would be better suited to take care of the child.
To further establish his paternity, he shared a photo of his daughter’s passport, displaying her surname, which is a fusion of his name and surname.
Following these developments, netizens criticized him for acknowledging his child only after another man proposed to his baby mama.
In response, Lord Lamba addressed the criticism on his Instagram Stories, stating: “I know Nigerians always fall for the pity card.
