The Gospel Faith Mission International, on Thursday, commenced a three-day leadership conference for women.
The Ministers Wives and Women Leaders conference holds at the GOFAMINT Headquarters, Alapako, Ogun State.
The conference with the theme, ‘The Victorious Christian Women’ holds between March 14 and 16.
The lead speaker at the opening session on Thursday, Gloria Bamiloye, advised the participants on the need for submission, stressing that women were not meant to compete with the male counterpart.
Bamiloye, in her sermon, urged the women not to underrate their God-given potential in making exploits but stressed that such potential must first manifest in their homes where they were ordained to be helpers.
She said, “Women are not ordinary creatures from God. When God created women, He created them with a mandate to go and do exploits and prosper. You can not be born again and not be submissive. Submission is your divine assignment from God. No matter how strong a man is in the ministry, a woman is to help. The first ministry from God to a woman is your home, your husband, and your children.”
Bamiloye noted that the potential of women would manifest if they looked inward to develop their potential.
“Women aare not ordinary, we are special creation from God, when God created women, he loaded you with a lot of blessings and you must go out and prosper with the mandate,” she said.
