This was disclosed in a statement posted on the party’s official X handle by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu.
Argungu said the state governorship primary would be held on April 25, while the primary election appeal to attend to complaints and contestation would hold on April 26.
According to the national organising secretary, the position taken by the party was in compliance with the Electoral Act 2022 as amended and relevant sections of the Constitution.
The statement partly read, “In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Electoral Act 2022, the APC hereby makes public its timetable and schedule of activities leading to the 16th November, 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo State as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC”.
Meanwhile, the ruling party has pegged the expression of interest form at N10 million, while the nomination form goes for N40 million.
However, female aspirants and persons with disabilities are given a concession to only procure the expression of interest form while the nomination form is free.
