Chef Derin, the lover of Big Brother Naija star Saskay, has reacted after being called out for allegedly dumping his ex-girlfriend to gain online popularity.
The drama started when Chef Derin took to the micro-blogging platform X to reveal that he no longer receives messages from ladies on Instagram due to his publicized relationship with Saskay.
He tweeted, “All my baddies for Instagram no Dey follow me talk again. Sorry fine Girl I’m taken.”
His statement stirred mixed reactions online, with many criticizing him for caring about other women’s messages while already dating Saskay.
He was also accused of being a cheat who slides into women’s DMs despite being in a relationship with the reality TV star.
A certain X user further called out the chef for causing his ex-girlfriend to fall into depression by breaking up with her for Saskay.
Purported chats between Chef Derin, known by the alias CD, and a woman also surfaced online. In the conversation, he allegedly admitted to announcing his relationship with Saskay for ‘online props’.
He further complained that sex with Saskay is terrible.

He claimed that the viral chats are fake and stated that his ex-girlfriend was the one who ended their relationship.
He also mentioned that he could have ignored the allegations, but he chose to speak out because of the respect he has for Saskay and her brand.
