Nigerian businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has arrived at a Federal High Court in Lagos for his arraignment on charges related to the alleged abuse of the Naira currency.
He will face three counts, including tampering and abusing the Naira.
Earlier, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed three charges against him for allegedly spraying and tampering with the Naira at events held at Eko Hotel on February 13th, 2024, another event in Lagos in January 2024, and yet another event in 2020.
His trial comes on the heels of socialite Bobrisky’s 6-month sentence for mutilating the Naira at a movie premiere held recently.
