This was according to a statement by the Director, Public Relations, Caleb University, Mr. Abimbola Olulesi, on Saturday.
Adebogun disclosed that the policies would position the country as a cynosure for the international community.
Recall that Tinubu had recently signed the Student Loan Bill into law, and he also ordered that graduates of the National Open University be included in the National Youth Service Corps scheme among other policies.
Lauding the student loan scheme, Adebogun noted that the scheme would give opportunities for everyone to have equal access to education.
He added that Tinubu’s decision to remove federal universities from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System also showed the president’s responsiveness to the agitation and plight of members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
Quoting Adebogun, Olulesi said, “Dr. Adebogun equally appreciated the high level of responsiveness of the Tinubu Administration to the yearnings of the Academic Staff Union of Universities by removing Federal Universities from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System and migrating them to the University Transparency and Accountability Solution.”
The Caleb Varsity boss also noted that the Out-of-school children’s education and training programme which he said had about two million beneficiaries was a step in the right direction while commending the President for providing training for teachers at all levels.
Similarly, Adebogun opined that the establishment of a National Education Data System and Skill Development for all levels of education, teacher training and support nationwide reflected the vision of the current administration aimed at addressing the challenges facing the education sector.
“The system-wide policies are aimed at comprehensively overhauling the education sector to improve learning and skill development, increase enrolment and ensure the academic security of the nation’s children succinctly captured as DOTS – Data Repository, Out-of-School Children Education, Teacher Training and Development, and Skill Development and Acquisition.
“These bold-spirited and outstanding interventions of the Tinubu-led administration in education, which is in congruence with the Renewed Hope agenda, will protect the future of our children and that of our country,” he concluded.
