Obi, who expressed this hope during his ‘Thank You Tour,’ in the United States, also emphasised that a new Nigeria was possible if the right people were recruited at all levels of government.
He expressed this in a statement jointly signed by the Coordinators of the PONewNigeriaProject, Dr. David Ogula, Dr. Moses Paul and Mrs Ndidi Mbagwu; a copy of which was made available to journalists on Sunday.
The former Anambra State Governor reflected on the impactful journey of the US tour and an enlightening lecture he delivered at the Harvard Law School, noting that together, “Nigerians can overcome current challenges, embrace opportunities and create a nation where every citizen thrives.”
Obi said, “As we embark on the journey ahead, let us carry with us the lessons learnt, the bonds forged and the unwavering resolve to build a brighter future for Nigeria.

Obi noted that from engaging in discussions on the state of the nation to exploring pathways forward, “every moment was filled with hope, determination and a shared vision for a better tomorrow.”
The LP presidential candidate appreciated those whose dedication and passion inspired them to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in their communities.
