A Nigerian lady has shared on the microblogging platform X how her friend was charmed and robbed by unknown men.
She stated in her tweet that her friend was returning from one of her gigs when she found herself in an uncompleted building after gifting a beggar money.
Her tweet read;
“My friend who is a stylist went to deliver a job yesterday evening, on her way back she said she met a man who stopped and asked for directions. He asked how he could get to Costane from Bode Thomas so she gave him directions. The man gently begged her for fare and she gave him #500. She said that was how she found herself in an uncompleted building with a lot of guys there and they were all armed. They collected her new iPhone then asked her to open her bank app, she told them she doesn’t have data so they turned on hotspot for her and withdrew all her savings took the phone as well then went ahead to tell her to pull her clothes. She had to tell them she was on her period and one requested to check just to be sure and after he checked he replied with “Abeg no use your thing spoil our thing” While the other guys went outside the building to talk, one stayed back with her. she cried and begged the guy to help her but the guy said if he try’s to do anything they’d kill him cus he doesn’t have a say and that she should pray her parents head is strong in prayer cus they were arguing outside and the reason was that they’ve collected money for body parts and they need to deliver cus some wanted her released while others didn’t. In summary is two of the guys told her to walk with them till they got to the bus stop, once they got to the bus stop they asked her to run. She said they trekked for almost 20 mins before getting to the bus stop and wasn’t aware how she got to that building and the guy she gave the #500 wasn’t not among them. I’m just so happy she’s safe God. omo!“
