A corps member has taken to social media to share how she benefitted from “pretty girl privilege” while in NYSC camp.
The lady, who identified as @tiana_shugar had camped in Delta state for three weeks, revealing she never used her meal ticket or paid for meals in the camp.
Sharing multiple slides of mouth-watering meals, the lady noted being a pretty girl bestowed the opportunity on her. The majority of her meals were sponsored by male corps members, who had an interest in her.
She wrote,
“PS: i never paid for my meal in camp for three weeks and i never used my meal card….Sweeeeeet”
The video shared on TikTok, garnered numerous comments from viewers who testified that being a pretty lady in orientation camp covers food expenses. While others confirmed the endearing attitude of male corps members towards the female, some criticized the act based on limited time spent together.
