Singer Portable, after being arrested over the debt of twenty-seven million and released on bail hours later, went straight to the studio to record another hit song to detail his experience.
This is not uncommon to the Nigerian artiste who gets inspired by his ordeal, scandal, or controversy enough to release a song to that effect.
His arrest in the early hours of yesterday was due to his refusal to settle the payment of the GL car he collected on credit in January 2024.
The term of the agreement was that he would pay in installments subsequently over the months which he did not heed despite the buyer’s plea and threat.
Instead, Portable had gone online to celebrate his new car, claiming he got it for sixty million without being in debt.
So when the buyer took strait action to have him arrested, he tried to jump over a gate to evade arrest but was caught and bundled into the police’s vehicle.
His act of swiftly climbing the gate was captured in video and has gone viral on the internet, gaining traction.
Zazu on being freed produced the song, ‘Spiderman’ to eulogize his deft climbing ability and perhaps also take the sting out of netizens trolling him online over the video.
