The Bauchi State Government has secured investors to build cement factories capable of producing 10 million tons of cement in the state.
The state Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, who expressed commitment to guaranteeing continuous collaboration, reiterated his administration’s commitment to boosting the state’s economy through industrial development.
Bala stated this while receiving the management of the Resident Cement Company Ltd accompanied by the state Commissioner of Natural Resources, Mohammed Maiwada Bello, at the Bauchi Government House.
The governor, while expressing appreciation for the initiative, “reassured commitment to maximising the available resources, to exploit the natural resources Bauchi State possesses for the economic development of the state.”
Earlier, Dr Junaid Abbas, Group Chairman of Resident Cement Factory, hailed Bala’s foresight, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the development of his state.
He expressed gratitude for the warm reception accorded to them, adding that, “Resident Cement Factory is eager to commence the venture worth $500 million in the Gwana District of Alkaleri, in collaboration with Sinoma Nigeria Company, a renowned Korean entity.”
