A Nigerian artiste named ItzRobbyLaw took to his Instagram page to call out Davido for refusing to drop their collaborated song for five years now and counting.
In a post on his Instagram account on June 17, 2024, he stated that he paid 15,000 pounds to Davido for featuring in his song titled “Jo”.
RobbyLaw in his lengthy video call-out said,
“Nigerians please come and help me I paid Davido a whopping £15,000 (N28Million) to jump on my song, he did his verse but he has refused to allow me release the song and now it’s now over 5years now and Davido is telling me that the song is too old that I should pay him money for another song.
I contacted @moneymakerdmw who initiated this deal to help get in touch with you for a smooth release but he refused stating that “the song is old now I should come and pay for another song”. I lost my wife and baby in 2021, being single parenting the rest of my kids but yet still trying to grind and hustle hoping you will see me one day and remember this song and reach out but I have decided I can’t wait forever when it wasn’t a song I got for free. I have been patient enough but I can’t take it anymore. I’m only living for my kids.
I paid £15000 and I should not be treated like this I have spent so much money preparing for the song which is in thousands of pounds. All I am asking for is to please support this banger so it can fly and your torchlight shine reach my family too”. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Netizens have flooded the comment section of the artiste, consoling him and tagging Davido to do the needful for the struggling artiste.
