The Personnel Department of the state Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission is carrying out the task on behalf of the state government.

The circular was dated June 21 and signed by the TESCOM Director of Personnel, O.A. Popoola, on behalf of the commission’s chairman.
The letter was further copied to the Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary, including education zonal heads.
The circular directed all school principals to bring five able-bodied men eligible for day and night guard duties from their respective communities.
Interested individuals are also instructed to apply for the job online using the commission’s recruitment portal as a prerequisite for their recruitment.
According to the circular, school principals from Saki and Kisi zones are expected to present their five able-bodied men before the commission by 10am on Monday, July 1; Iseyin and Eruwa on Tuesday, July 2 at the same time; and Ogbomoso Zone on Wednesday, July 3.
Other scheduled presentations are Oyo Zone on Thursday, July 4; Ibadan Zone I and II on Friday, July 5; and Ibadan Zone III and IV on Monday, July 8.
The circular read, “I have the instruction to refer to the above subject and remind the Tutor-Generals/Zonal Heads of the resolution of the Oyo State TESCOM management meeting held on Thursday, June 20, on the urgent need to recruit able-bodied men as day and night guards in all the public schools.
“Consequent upon the above, all school principals are requested to come along with five able-bodied men drawn from their communities to the TESCOM headquarters, Ibadan, in line with the TESCOM arrangement.
“I am to add that it is compulsory that all interested individuals must also apply for the job online using the commission’s recruitment portal before they would be considered for the recruitment.”
