Food vendor raises alarm as she shows off the cunning method, tomato seller cheats her customers to make sales on a daily basis.
The video captured the moment a tomato seller skillfully arranged balls of tomatoes round the edge of a custard container, without filling the inner part.
The unknown seller proceeded to fill it into various layers similar to a mountain for display in order to attract customers.
The food vendor @Acheojasandraayame noted that the beautifully arranged tomatoes in the market are mostly to cheat customers, who think there is more in the container. She advised that customers should always convince the seller to measure another container.
The cunning method could make a customer confused if they actually purchased one custard plastic of tomatoes.
The video has stirred varying opinions from social media users, who concurred that the cunning method has become a notorious habit among tomato sellers in the market.
Many suggest that the tomatoes in the custard container are mostly for advertisement and customers tend to ask for another measurement.
