President Bola Tinubu has extended condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, over the death of his mother-in-law, Asiya Gauyama.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Gauyama died in Kano on Monday.
Tinubu said in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, that the deceased would be missed for her contributions to her family and community as matriarch, guide and leader.
“The president prays for the repose of the soul of the late Hajiya Asiya Gauyama and comfort for her family,” the statement read.
