The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the 2025 Hajj fare for intending pilgrims, with prices ranging from N8.3 million to N8.7 million.
According to a statement issued by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Usara, the fare was determined after extensive consultations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards.
The commission’s chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, explained that the fare is inclusive of various costs, including transportation, accommodation, and feeding.

The breakdown of the fare shows that intending pilgrims from the Southern states will pay N8.7 million, while those from Borno and Adamawa zones will pay N8.3 million. Pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.4 million.
NAHCON has advised prospective pilgrims to adhere to Saudi guidelines, register early, and make timely payments to avoid inconveniences. The commission has also directed pilgrims to visit its official website or contact their state pilgrims’ welfare boards for more details.
The announcement comes as preparations for the 2025 Hajj exercise are underway. NAHCON has assured that it is working tirelessly to ensure a seamless and successful Hajj experience for all Nigerian pilgrims.
