The extradition trial of self-proclaimed prophet, Shepherd Bushiri and his wife is expected to begin in Malawi. Chief resident magistrate Patrick Chirwa had refused to recuse himself. The Bushiris’ lawyers had objected to his handling of the case, citing possible bias.
