Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the comment by Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde that Nigeria has become ‘hellish’ under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Recall that Omotola made the remark on her Twitter page on Monday, while calling out Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over the state of the nation, coupled with killings across the country.
Reacting, Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Ahmad Bashir dismissed Omotola’s comment, saying those with legitimate means of livelihood are not complaining under the current administration.
Omokri, in a tweet on Tuesday evening, backed the actress’s comment by asking if Buhari’s government was still a democracy.
Omokri wrote: “Demolishing @AIT_Online structures and threatening Omotola @Realomosexy with tax payments on the same day.
“Is the @MBuhari government still a democracy? This is a man who threatened to soak certain people in blood and wasn’t threatened. May democracy return to Nigeria #RenosDarts.”
