Big Brother Naija star, Queen has taken to social media to mark the first anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
Recounting the Oct 20, 2020 incident the reality star revealed she was heart broken, wept bitterly and prayed all night.
Recall that exactly a year ago peaceful #EndSARS protesters were reportedly shot at by men of the Nigerian army at the Lekki Toll Gate, leading to loss of lives.
Sharing the emotional video, which captured the moment she broke down in tears during the Lekki toll gate shooting last year, she wrote,
“This particular night I cried myself to sleep, I couldn’t even sleep. I was heart broken, I cried and prayed all night for a miracle to happen. I started wishing I was in a position of authority already, to help my people, I wanted to do something, but what can I possibly do, just a little girl with dreams. I prayed like never before, and I’m still praying for my country Nigeria.
“For a better Nigeria. Our lives matters. This pain is still fresh in the heart of every Nigerian. Our cry must be heard. Our lives matter”.
