Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has appointed eleven new permanent secretaries in the state.
The governor announced the appointment in a statement signed by the state’s Head of Service, Sunday Hyat, on Thursday.
The statement read, “Following the need to fill in vacant positions that exist within the administrative structure of the state and most importantly to facilitate and enhance the implementation of Government Policies, Programmes and Projects within Ministries, Departments and Agencies, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong (KSGG) has approved the appointment of eleven (11) new Permanent Secretaries.”
According to the statement, those appointed were Farmson S Choji, Barkin Ladi LGA; Awos Hezekiah Peter, Bokkos LGA; Lamba Peter Bot, Jos North LGA; Abus Ibrahim Izang, Jos North LGA; Rebecca K Shaseet, Kanke and Vincent Turep Niyel, Mikang LGA.
Others were Horlong T Hoomkwap, QuanpanLGA; Fidelis Karsuk Daboer, Quanpan LGA; Daniel Danbwarang Lenge, Riyom LGA; Albert Nyang Chaimang, Riyom LGA and Ibrahim Sadiya Yero from Wase LGA.
The statement added, “While wishing the new appointees success in their new endeavour, the government will continue to give maximum attention to effective and efficient service delivery within its available resources and it is expected that workers should reciprocate this gesture by being more committed, productive and loyal.”
