Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday evening held a closed-door meeting with leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Katsina State over his presidential ambition.
The Vice President arrived at the venue of the meeting at the Presidential Banquet inside Government House, Katsina at 6.50 p.m.
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, led other APC leaders in the state to the meeting.
Also at the meeting were delegates to the APC forthcoming presidential primaries in Abuja and members of the state’s House of Assembly.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not disclosed, it was learnt that the Vice President was expected to discuss his intention to run in the 2023 presidential race with those in attendance.
He was also expected to seek the support of the APC delegates and leaders for his ambition.
The meeting was still in session as at 7.20 p.m when this report was filled.
