The Sokoto State Police Command is set to embark on a shooting range exercise effective from Monday, June 13, to Friday, June 18, 2022.
This was made known by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Sanusi Abubakar, and made available to newsmen in the state, where he said the exercise would take place along the Kware-Illela road.
According to the statement, Sokoto State Police Command wishes to inform all residents in the state that the command will embark on a shooting range exercise from Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 18, 2022, between 0600hrs and 1800hrs at the Army range ground along Kware-Illelah road.
“In view of this, the command uses this medium to notify all and sundry to stay away and should not panic, especially residents in the following villages: Gidan Yamma, Mashedi, and Tsire villages along the Kware-Illelah road.

“While reiterating our commitment to sustaining peace in the state, we call on members of the public to cooperate with the police in this gesture he added,” the statement partly read.
