The seven ministerial nominees whose names were forwarded to the Senate for confirmation by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), would be screened on Wednesday (today).
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, on Tuesday, reminded his colleagues of the planed screening.
The PUNCH reported that Buhari, in a letter dated June 15, 2022, requested the Senate to screen and confirm the nomination of seven ministerial nominees.
The nominees include Henry Ikoh – Abia State; Umana Okon Umana – Akwa Ibom State; Ekumankama Nkama – Ebonyi State; and Goodluck Opiah – Imo State.
Others are Umar El-Yakub – Kano State; Ademola Adegoroye – Ondo State; and Odum Udi – Rivers State.
